2012 Honda Pilot
Customer Car Review by: Suen Kuen 'Sue Ann' Poon | March 14th, 2012
The Honda Pilot Touring is a great SUV and family-hauler. It seats 8. The third row seats are comfortable even for adults, but best suited for children and smaller people. The power of the SUV could be a bit better considering it is such a large/heavy vehicle. I think 250 horsepower is adequate for city driving on the flat, but a bit anemic when ascending long hills, accelerating or towing. The leather upholstery is very nice and seats are comfortable. The centre control stack and MID is a lot more user-friendly and less cluttered than the 2011's and older. The drive and handling of the Pilot is very smooth and responsive for an SUV. Nice additions this year: 18" alloy wheels, new front grill and bumper, supposed better mileage. We looked at other SUVs, but felt the Pilot was bang for your buck. Brian Woo was our sales associate. Over 7 years, he has helped myself and family/friends purchase 9 vehicles through OpenRoad. He is simply the best: hard-working, conscientious, honest, and a true deal-maker. It has been a pleasure dealing with him and the OpenRoad Honda dealership (incl. service and parts dept.) during this time. Highly recommended: Brian Woo, 2012 Honda Pilot, and OpenRoad Honda!
