2012 Hyundai Sonata
Customer Car Review by: Steve | March 27th, 2012
It’s no wonder the new Sonata was chosen as one of Car and Driver’s 10Best. The bold styling certainly sets this car apart from any other family sedans out there and everything feels solid with high quality materials throughout. It’s very well equipped with nice comfort features such as Bluetooth and rear heated seats (unheard of in this class!). The 2.4L GDI engine delivers plenty of power for around-town driving (there’s always the 2.0T model if you want the extra power) and with the eco mode on, gas mileage is excellent. Ride is great with most bumps and jolts being well absorbed and it corners fairly well for a family sedan. The electric power steering system (MDPS) is light and could use some more steering feel and feedback but it makes parking a breeze. The service at OpenRoad Hyundai (from purchase to maintenance) has been nothing but fantastic and our next car will definitely be from OpenRoad again!
